	Brotherly Love Two baby mountain goats nuzzled each other and became the Photo of the Day on Kodak.com for November 18, 2007. They appeared on the Jumbotron in Kodak Times Square Gallery in New York City that day. It was also a winner at Shutterbugs on January 22, 2007.
	Gold Creek Columbine My wonderful neighbors gave me the key to their mountain cabin. I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and high-altitude surroundings. One morning I went up a creek nearby and found many, many columbine. This is a close-up of one, which was a Photo of the Day at Photoshowdown on September 9, 2007.
	Kiva Ladder This ladder led down into a kiva at Spruce Tree House ruin in Mesa Verde National Park. The image was taken just as the sun was going down behind the mesa. Kodak.com accorded it honors as Photo of the Day on July 26, 2007, and it was also featured on the Jumbotron in Kodak Times Square Gallery in New York City that day. Photo-Of-The-Day.com gave it honors on January 18, 2007 as well.
	Nude in Snow II After several deep snows during the Colorado winter, I found these voluptuous snow mounds at Castlewood Canyon State Park in my own Douglas County, Colorado. Only in my wildest dreams did I think they would become a Finalist in the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, sponsored by the BBC and the Natural History Museum of London. They did! It is the most prestigious international photo competition for nature photography. The image was also a Photo of the Day at Imagestation on February 7, as well as Photo-Of-The-Day.com on February 6, 2007.
	Tender Moment This moment between a female fox (vixen) and her kit was very fleeting. I found them in a local park, and was so happy to have witnessed their closeness. The two became a winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com on June 22, 2007.
	Sleeping Angel My grandson Jason, as he napped in my bed. And he didn't even wake up! The photo was honored at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for May 5, 2007.
	Moonset at Garden of the Gods The moon set very quickly after I composed this image at Garden of the Gods. The image was the Scenic Photo of the Day at Bestfoto on March 6, 2007.
	Rounding the Spruce Tree I saw this red fox about to come around the back side of a spruce tree, in a local park one morning. I was really happy to get this photo just as he appeared. He was a winner at Kodak.com on April 3, and was also featured on the Jumbotron in Kodak Times Square Gallery in New York City that day. Additionally, his photo was the Photo of the Day on Photoshowdown for March 18, Bestfoto on March 11, and Photo-Of-The-Day.com for March 3, 2007.
	Orchid, Selective Focus By far my favorite of all the orchid images I took at the Denver Orchid Society's 2007 Show. I like the abstract quality of this one. The floral was a winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for March 30, 2007.
	Ancient One in Fog A bristlecone pine. I found this ancient tree in the Mt. Evans Wilderness Area of Colorado. Photo-Of-The-Day.com gave it honors on March 5, 2007.
	Nonchalant Bighorn My favorite photo from a day with the bighorn sheep. He became a Finalist in the Betterphoto January 2007 contest, as well as a Finalist at Photoshowdown that month, and a daily winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for January 6, 2007.
	Rattling Antlers These two young bucks were sparring on some open space near my home. The sound of their rattling antlers reverberated loudly through the hills. The image was the Animals Photo of the Day at Bestfoto on February 24, 2007.
	Foothills Fox An environmental photo of a red fox, with the foothills of the Rockies as a backdrop. The image was the Animals Photo of the Day at Photoshowdown on February 23, Bestfoto on February 18, and Photo-Of-The-Day.com for February 9, 2007.
	Alpine Cascades I am drawn to water and mountains, and when the two of them come together, I feel complete. These cascades are located on a high mountain pass in Colorado. The image was a winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for February 15, 2007.
	Arctic Fox Taken at the Denver Zoo, this usual resident of the Arctic was a daily winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for February 12, 2007.
	Yankee Girl Mine in Winter To me, this is one of the most beautiful historic mines in Colorado. Taken along the dangerous Million Dollar Highway between Silverton and Ouray, Colorado. It was the Black and White photo of the day at Shutterbugs on January 24, 2007.
	Rockwood School Perhaps this old structure was a combination school/church? In any case, the image was a Photo of the Day at Photoshowdown on January 20, 2007.
	I'll Race You Up the Mountain Two little mountain goats in a dash to the top of Mt. Evans. He became a daily winner at Photo-Of-The-Day.com for January 1, 2007.
